Located in the County Remigen on the North side of the Alps, our plots Alpberg, Horn and Rütiberg are planted to Pinot Noir, Kerner, Riesling and Chardonnay. The vines are mostly between 20 and 40 years old and are in their prime.
The South facing plots are limestone dominated with a thin layer of loam or clay based topsoil.
On the South side of the Alps, our plots in Gordemo, Gudo and Sementina are steep South facing parcels that are planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vines have been continuously renewed, but the oldest ones are around 100 years old.
The thin layer of soil on top of the alpine granite is fertile and provides the vines with everything they need.
Döttingen is near Remigen close to the German borders. Here we have Pinot Noir, Malbec, Blaufränkisch, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc.
The sunny South facing slopes have moderate amounts of rain and Burgundian soils.

"After 20 years of desk bound work, I finally made the break in the Spring of 2017 and decided to become a full time farmer and winemaker. There is a primitive pleasure that comes from feeling the sun on your back, the sweat on your forehead and having a physical product in your hands at the end of a successful growing season.
Treating the land with respect and working in harmony with nature is important to us. We believe the best way to grow wines that are expressive of their terroir is to farm organically. We are starting our conversion to organic biodynamic farming on January 1st 2018."
